About Me

Nanouli Shevardnadze is a French-Georgian actress and filmmaker based in New York City. She trained at NYU Tisch School of the Arts as well as the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London.

 

She has performed at the National Theatre in London as part of the River Stage Festival, The Wild Project (Cowgirl Summer), La MaMa (Remember the Time), The Tank (Cowgirl Summer), Dixon Place (The Nose Play and The Forest), Playwrights Horizons Downtown (La Boom), Lenfest Center for the Arts (Dancing at Lughnasa), The Schapiro Theatre at Columbia University (As You Like It, The Three Sisters, Fur, Party For the End of the World), The East Village Basement (Cabin), Under St Marks Theater (Dunk Tank Play) and UCB Theater.

 

She has done workshops and readings with New York Theatre Workshop (Sydney), Clubbed Thumb (The Joy of Painting) and The Barrow Group (Julia C). 

 

Some of her all time inspirations are Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Celine Song, Michaela Coel and Pedro Almodovar.

Some of her favorite films are My Life as Zucchini, The Umbrellas of Cherbourg, Submarine and Edward Scissorhands.
